A blending of High Art and Pop Art, Broadcast Media and Print Media, Fine and Casual Dining, High Fashion and Lifestyle Shopping, Riverwalk represents a new center of Cultural and Civic Pride. To symbolize the unification of five outlying districts into the new city of Kitakyushu, five objects of different colors, juxtaposed into a cohesive arrangement, create this "Still Life" Composition, coming to life as one moves through and experiences the unique avenues and spaces between the objects, offering this awesome sense of place.
Riverwalk Kitakyushu creates a unified identity for the city, while offering a wide array of attractions - cultural, entertainment, dining, shopping, office - creating a catalyst for this newly- birthed City and paying homage to the historic Kokura Castle and Gardens.
