A “Metaphoric Earth” was the inspiration to recreate the “Top of the Hill” at Universal Studios (that was flattened for a parking lot years ago). We envisioned an iconic image for Universal Pictures, whose logo for the past 80 years has been the plane flying around the earth. This curved "Cityroof" form symbolizes Universal's image of entertainment, which would also create a striking image along the Hollywood Freeway running adjacent to the site.

First Phase of this new Entertainment Micropolis is "Citywalk", the first Urban Entertainment Center created. Anchored by the Studio Tour at one end and Parking on the other, "Citywalk" has become one of the premier entertainment venues in the city. Taking the cue from Los Angeles architecture, overlayed with neon signs, lighted towers, and California landscaping, this attraction draws visitors from the Studio Tour and has become a major district for local LA’s diverse population.
